Phillip is a socially withdrawn loner shaped by a childhood of abandonment and loss, surviving day to day in quiet isolation. His routine is disrupted when Rayanne, an ambitious actress with struggles of her own, pulls him into an unexpected friendship that begins to chip away at his emotional walls.

 

But as Phillip grows attached, his deep-rooted fear of betrayal resurfaces when a misunderstanding convinces him she has deceived him.
